Introducing: Lauren of Twidley Bits

Instagram: @twidleybits

Lauren’s energy is contagious & unmatched. She started her business in August of 2019, making scrumptious jams, fruit butters, pickles and plant-based cheeses.

Lauren lights up our HHH markets with energy and delicious nibbles of carrot pickles, Chicago-style giardiniera, pickled okra… not to mention the jams & plant-based cheeses.

We take the best the seasons have to offer and turn them into scrumptious jams, fruit butters, pickles and plant-based cheeses that you and your loved ones can enjoy all year long. We help you put breakfast on the table, snacks on the buffet, and treats in everyone’s tummies that we all can feel good about. You have enough to worry about, let us take care of the little delights.

Lauren joined HHH after our founder, Jenny, reached out to her on Instagram. Jenny noticed Lauren’s positive vibes & absolutely delicious looking bits, and so, she invited her to participate in the September 2019 Suicide Prevention Fundraiser.

“I was just a baby business in August of 2019 and hadn’t even done a single event yet. When Jenny reached out I thought it was a scam at first, because who would want to recruit someone who had never worked an event before?

But she rolled with my punches of 20 questions and that very day I signed on for the September [2019] market and fundraiser. Since then, they can’t get rid of me!”

We assure you Lauren, we never want to get rid of you!

She says, “one of the things I like best about Handmade Happy Hour markets is the community of makers & artisans… every singly vendor is kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and so friendly.”

“I have made some true friends working these markets and I’m forever grateful for that.”

We are too! 🙂

We wholeheartedly agree with Lauren when she says “I always know a Handmade Happy Hours market will be so much fun… and that translates to attendees as well. They end up having a better experience if we’re having a good time from the moment they step through the door.”

Lauren is another maker that we’ve watched grow and we are grateful she keeps coming back. It’s exciting to see people like Lauren grow their business, and grow their network with Handmade Happy Hours.

We want to thank Lauren for sharing her story with us and allowing us to be a part of her growth as an artist & small business owner.
