Please help keep our Handmade Happy Hours Markets™ alive & something we can look forward to in the future.
Well, it’s official. Illinois is shut down until at least April 30th.
As we shelter-in-place, heeding the calls of our government to stay home & save lives, we don’t know when our next in-person Handmade Happy Hours market will actually happen.
We have events on the calendar for May, and while we are still hopeful we will be able to have these markets as planned, realistically, they will likely be pushed back.
We don’t know when, where and if future events will happen, because as it stands right now, we have not been able to generate income to have the funds to book future venues, market our organization to recruit new vendors, and other regular operations.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful knowing we will soon be back together at local venues, shopping local independent businesses?
While we do know our First Day of Spring Fest, Mother’s Day “I Got it From My Momma!,” and the Cannabis-Themed Handmade Market will be happening at some point, that’s all we know. We haven’t been able to book any venues and sign artists up for future events for obvious reasons, meaning we don’t have enough income to keep this great little market we have going.
Please consider donating a few dollars to our GoFundMe campaign. We all need something to look forward to – and this will give our 200+ artists a little comfort knowing HHH will be there for them when this passes.
